About the Cincinnati Bengals

What to Check on This Team Page

The Cincinnati Bengals joined the AFL in 1968 and entered the NFL with the 1970 merger, playing home games at Paycor Stadium along the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati. The Bengals reached Super Bowl LVI following the 2021 season behind quarterback Joe Burrow and a fast-rising receiving corps, falling just short to the Los Angeles Rams. Cincinnati's AFC North rivalry with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens has produced some of the division's most contentious games, while the crosstown-style border rivalry with the Cleveland Browns adds an extra edge to divisional Sundays. The Burrow-led offense, featuring a college connection with receiver Ja'Marr Chase from LSU, sparked one of the most rapid rebuilds in recent NFL memory. Paycor Stadium's downtown riverfront location gives Bengals home games a distinct skyline backdrop. After decades of inconsistency, Cincinnati has established itself as a perennial AFC North contender built around its young passing attack.
