About the Jacksonville Jaguars

What to Check on This Team Page

The Jacksonville Jaguars joined the NFL as an expansion franchise in 1995 and play home games at EverBank Stadium along the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville. In just their second season, the Jaguars reached the AFC Championship Game, one of the fastest starts to relevance by any expansion franchise in NFL history. Jacksonville's AFC South rivalry with the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, and Houston Texans has defined the division since its 2002 realignment. The Jaguars are known for hosting an annual regular-season game in London as part of the NFL's International Series, giving the franchise a distinct global following. EverBank Stadium's pool decks and video boards, among the largest in professional sports at the time of installation, reflect the organization's focus on modernizing the gameday experience. As one of the league's smaller-market franchises, Jacksonville continues to build its roster around the draft, aiming to return to the AFC Championship picture it reached early in its history. Start with the NFLBite home page for the wider league overview, use the NFL schedule to check upcoming matchups, review the NFL scores for recent results, and visit the NFL team directory to compare this franchise with the rest of the league.
